Yesterday I went to a meeting of our book club. I don’t remember exactly when I joined, but that goes to show what a good time I’ve been having! We’ve read some books I would not normally gravitate to on my own, and while I’ve enjoyed some more than others, I always enjoy stretching out my comfort zone.
Right now we’re reading The Heart is a Lonely Hunter — and I will have a lot more to say about that soon — but I thought it would be fun to present the books we’ve read, starting with my favorites and working on down. By no means do I totally dislike the books towards the bottom, but it’s just that they do not hold a candle to the books at the top. Where I’ve posted previously about the book, I will link you on over…
Snow, by Orhan Pamuk. Here is my review.
The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, by Haruki Murakami. Here is my review.
