Today

…my head hurts.

…it is cloudy and rainy.

…I craved coffee at the morning break, but there was none to be found.

…we talked about using the passive voice and about something called Zutstandspassiv, which as I far as I can tell is something I already use but didn’t know the name of.  Even if I had been alert and free of pain, it still would have taken some puzzling to figure that one out.  And I am still not convinced that it is really that easy.

…I need to write a short text in passive voice describing a traditional American meal.  Aside from the fact that there really is not any traditional American meal to talk about (I used Thanksgiving already last week), it seems kind of boring to talk about food using passive voice. Auf Englisch: “The cake is baked at 300 degrees [Passiv].  After it is baked [Zutstandspassiv], the cake is cooled for 30 minutes [Passiv] and then the cake is frosted [Passiv].”  Anyway, you get my point.

…I will go to bed early and start tomorrow fresh.
