Emily and I went to high school together, and although we don’t actually see each other very often, I keep up with all her travels and triathlons over at Travel With Emily.
Almost exactly 8 years ago, I was flying through London on my way home from spending a year in Uganda, and coincidentally Emily was living in London the time. So we met up for coffee early in the morning at the airport during my long layover, and it was one of the best ways I could imagine passing the time between continents.
This summer Emily and I have another random spot in common: Bonn! Coincidentally, we both happen to be (temporarily) living here this summer. And thankfully, we’ve managed to take advantage of the randomness!
Crazy! Your friends are certainly well traveled! We’ll have to figure out a time to Skpye since Coen keeps wanting to call Auntie Mandi. And every time we play ball he tells me “no…like this…Mandi” I think maybe I’m not doing something the way you were doing it. We miss you!
