Hope

Election Mosaic

I try not to talk too much about politics here.  Not because I don’t feel strongly — because you better believe I do (Obama!) — but because we let politics divide us too deeply and we let our political beliefs alienate ourselves from one another.  I am lucky enough to have a career that lets me work towards my ideals every day in trying to make the world a better place, and this is far more important to me than posting my political opinions on my blog.

But.  It would be ridiculous to ignore this election.  The electricity, the excitement, the unbelievable hope in the future.  Even from all the way over on the other side of the ocean.  So, there you have it.  And now that the easy part is over with, let the real work begin!

P.S. Thanks to Suzanne for the fabulous mosaic idea!  Although the German newspapers aren’t quite as flashy, the message is still clear.

What an amazing night! I was at a Democratic Rally at the Westin, to be surrounded by all the happiness and hope was amazing, to be there to witness history, I cant even put it words. I am so happy and hopeful now!
