This Time Last Year: November 2007

Here’s the beginning of a new monthly series: a look back at the posts from one year ago.  Since a lot has changed since then (e.g. country, language, job…the small stuff, really), I thought a blast from the past would be worthwhile.

Grateful Friday: Harvest: Can you tell I have found a new toy? It’s the Mosaic Maker, and I love it, and you can expect to see more where this one came from…

2:09:04 & 2:23:09: I was up at 7am today because of the time change, so I took advantage of it and headed over to my favorite muffin place and read the Times and drank my coffee…

Self-Portrait Challenge: Red Earring: My favorite red earrings, a gift from my favorite German, from my favorite jewelry store in Berlin…

Left & Right Here’s a little free association for this week’s Sunday Scribblings. Left: Dancing. Seattle. Brooklyn…

Self-Portrait Challenge: Words: I used to wear many more clever slogans on my clothing than I do now. But I still hang on to a few favorites, like my bright pink This is What a Feminist Looks Like t-shirt…

Grateful Thursday: Since today is the day when Americans give thanks, I thought I’d co-opt Grateful Friday for Thanksgiving Thursday…

Random Sunday: Thanks to Maven, I’ve been turned onto this great little food blog called Everybody Likes Sandwiches run by a “30-something, food-obsessed designer living in Vancouver, BC.”…
