I decided to take Kelly over at Shutter Sisters up on the challenge to: “go outside. Hold your camera down a bit and capture a shot of yourself with the sky as your backdrop. Then point your camera down and capture your feet on the ground. Put the images together to create a lovely diptych that reveals a small, telling moment in your day.”
Makes for a good lunch break. But since I was working from home and couldn’t bear to leave the snuggly apartment for too long, I did this on our balcony. And because it is so gray and gloomy and I couldn’t get the right exposure for both shots (don’t ask me why, I’m just an amateur), I decided to play with the color and contrasts afterwards.
