Emerald City

Tomorrow, we are making the long journey to Seattle for the holidays. We are crossing our fingers that the snowstorm doesn’t wreak any havoc on our travel plans.  But seeing Seattle blanketed in snow will certainly be worth all the hassle.

I am also looking forward to enjoying this view from my parent’s apartment…

And maybe we will see what this looks like in the snow…

And definitely drink more than our fair share of these…

I will  peek my head in on you all over the holidays, but will mostly be silent.  Enjoy the time, and as the Germans say, have a good slide into the new year!

I hope you made it! We’re supposed to fly out of Spokane today on our way to Los Angeles but Alaska Airlines ran out of de-icer and closed down completely yesterday. We’re really hoping we make it out. :)

Enjoy the Seattle snow (and your visit home). :)
