Seeing:

* my Mom in Germany!
* the red cliffs of Helgoland.
* the Herrenhäuser Gärten of Hannover.
* views of Hamburg from the top of the St. Michaelis Kirche.

Hearing:

* the waves crashing against the shore from our hotel balcony.

Tasting:

* baked potatoes.
* Alsterwasser = beer + Sprite. Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it! Also known as Radler in the south of Germany.

Feeling:

* pain in my neck from carrying around my camera (among other things) everyday for a week straight. Time to get a massage, I guess.
* a bee sting on my arm that swelled up, turned red and has been itchy for a week. I had no idea I was so sensitive!

Smelling:

* the fresh salty air of the North Sea.
