Seeing:
* my Dad! He was here for a quick stopover between business meetings.
* the first season of Dexter. But they’re really not winning me over with their sympathetic portrayal of a vigilante serial murderer. I know it’s a popular show and all, but c’mon people, I gotta draw the line somewhere.
Hearing:
* the tale of the Star Spangled Banner origins, according to the local classical radio station’s regular feature of Die Wahre Geschichte (the true story), and mein Schatz‘s amusement at this information.
Tasting:
* a delicious Italian meal at La Scala’s.
Feeling:
* cold everything. The weather has been below freezing all week and looks like that trend is going to continue.
Smelling:
* something totally rank in our building at work. Last time I smelled something like that, it was a cat decomposing behind a shelf in our garage. Sorry, but it’s true.

Have you tried the show Burn Notice on USA Network? Kind of a similar theme, but the main guy was never a serial killer, just a good spy (and he’s handsome to boot)… and I’m sorry you have experienced the smell of decomposing cat. :P
