Five Senses Friday no. 25

Seeing:
* sunny blue skies!  A first around here in a while.

Hearing:
* The National, a Brooklyn-based band that we have tickets to see here in Hamburg in July.

Tasting:
* Bushmills, straight.

Smelling:
* cows in Bremen.

Feeling:
* butterflies in my stomach, but all for a good reason. More on that soon.

Check out Emily’s Five Senses Friday over here!

    I had to giggle when I read your “Smelling” sense. A coworker has tuned me in to this “phenomenon” called “Every Day You See A Cow” (see here: http://www.paulkershaw.co.uk/blog.html). Have you heard of this? Apparently, every day if we tune ourselves to it, we see a cow every day. Now, it doesn’t have to be a real cow. It can be a picture of a cow on a milk carton, a sign, etc. The only rule is that it can’t be the same cow source. The reason being it kills the game if you use a known source for seeing a cow.

    Silly game but makes you wonder…

    P.S. I have not seen a cow today (yet).
    P.P.S. I wonder if there is a special exception for smelling a cow vs. seeing one!
