A friend from high school, came out for a whirlwind visit of New York City last week — and we did almost everything under the sun for her first trip here. Including: Brooklyn Bridge, Ground Zero, Chinatown, Little Italy, Katz’s Deli, Top of the Rock, dinner and wine on the Lower East Side, MoMA, Central Park, The Producers, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the Met, jazz at Small’s, and Prospect Park — just to name the highlights.

Despite the stormy weather, we had a fabulous time. I love having visitors — because it means that I can go do all the stuff I wouldn’t normally do living here! (Hint hint!)
