The Germany photos are up! Just click here to see them.
Specifically, we were in Hannover, Hamburg, and Berlin. All three cities were quite unique from each other, but I enjoyed them all quite a bit. Hannover is a pleasant city of about half a million, where I felt comfortable riding a bike around the city, and where it seems that people really get to know their neighbors. Hamburg is a bustling international port city with about 1.75 million with lots to do and see. And Berlin is the most populous city in Germany (with just under 4 million people) and the second most populous in the E.U., and has a distinct and edgy flavor all its own.

Lots of good times were had, despite our hurried timetable. Because my camera went kaputt on the second day of vacation (very nicely replaced in Hamburg with a new shiny birthday present camera), most of the pictures in Germany were taken with terrible disposable cameras which produced so-so results. But I hope you can enjoy the photos anyway by clicking here or on either one of the photos above.
its nice that you like Hannover (Germany). :-)
greetings
