How can you argue with a fortune like that? Is it any wonder I felt the need to pin it to the bulletin board above my desk? I don’t remember how long ago I ate that fortune cookie — it’s been ages since I’ve eaten cheap Chinese takeout, so I imagine I toted it along with me when I moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn a couple years ago.
I define “greatness” as making a dent in changing the world for the better, something I constantly aspire to and need to remind myself of everyday — even if a guy named Donald Lau from Long Island City did make it up.

I like your fortune! I can understand why you kept it in sight!!!
what an awesome fortune to keep and make use of. i agree that it is very possible to achieve greatness. well done with your intention of making a dent that is a great thing to aspire to.
It is very possible we all may acheive greatness in our lifetimes and it’s something we all need to remember. We may all define greatness a little bit differently but I’d go so far as to say we were all made for greatness and the only thing that stops us acheiving it is ourselves. Great post!
Good luck making a dent!
If you believe in the possibility, that makes it all the more likely. Someone who has no faith in the possibility probably has no chance of greatness. Go for it!
I would have kept that fortune too, no matter how I received it! :)
