Have you ever stopped to think about how central the word “good” is to language and human expression? It’s always one of the first words you learn. I’ve found that if I know nothing else in a foreign language, I can usually bluff my way through by saying some variation of “good, thank you” or “very good”. The word can be applied to so many situations and can have lots of different meanings, depending on the context. Which is why “good” is such a good word to know.
