Thankfully, I don’t usually spend too much time pondering this impossibility. But, it was a treat to have an excuse to put some thought to what I’d want to do if I could freeze time. Here’s what I came up with: I would…
- Savor my cup of coffee and a Blue Sky muffin over the NY Times every morning before work.
- Make up for all the training I missed when I had the flu last month, and run the Staten Island Half Marathon that I was signed up for today.
- Read all the books I’ve always wanted to read.
- Study my German intensively and become fluent by my next visit.
- Travel around the world and make sure I don’t miss a single country.
- Make sure my little nephew doesn’t grow up one bit without me being there for it.
- Enjoy my visits with mein Schatz for a hundred times longer.
But that’s just me. Click here to read what other people would do if they could stop time.
Could we ever truly read all the books we want to read?
Interesting post. Thanks.
Yay! Another coffee drinker! I found myself wishing I could stop time this morning before work. Here’s to good coffee!
