I am just back from the 11th Annual Pre-Thanksgiving celebration in D.C. As always, it was a wonderful and relaxing weekend with good friends, good food, and lots of laughter. We figured out that it was my 3rd Pre-Thanksgiving (click here to read about last year).
This year it was a special treat because it was the first celebration held in Kristen & Frank‘s new home, which is a gorgeous 100-year-old row house that they have just moved into, with plenty of room for guests — a sizable group of friends from New York and Boston were able to spend the weekend in the new place. Kristen & Frank have done some amazing renovations so far, and you can track their continuous progress over at their blog.
And did I mention the food? Two turkeys, cranberry sauce, Frank’s famous cornbread, spicy corn, green beans, butternut squash, sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie and apple pie. Mmmm, yum. I’m afraid I was busy eating so I never got around to taking many photos — except for the one above of the beautiful glass tiles in the bathroom. Gorgeous, no?
Many thanks to K&F for another wonderful Pre-Thanksgiving!
