I am all for increasing access to information, so I couldn’t resist passing this along. In honor of National* Women’s Health Week (May 10-16), the publishers of the Journal of Women’s Health (which is the official journal of the American Medical Women’s Association) will provide free online access to all of its articles for the entire month of May.
Why is this of note? Usually, unless you are attached to a university of some sort, access to academic journals is expensive and hard to come by. After four years of working for a non-profit and having to pick-up articles here and there through the accounts of grad students that worked for us, I am relieved to be back at a university with endless access to the literature.
So, please, take advantage of this opportunity and indulge your curiosity about women’s health this month by clicking this link!
* And I guess with “national,” we’re talking the U.S. here, but access to the journal is for everyone!
Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! (I can get articles at my work too, but have been without before and hate that!)
