I have been neglecting my blog as of late. Some of that has to do with a lot of (local) traveling for work (Wiesbaden, Fulda) and for fun (Gröben). The fun traveling resulted in some beautiful photos that I’m showing off in this post. Germany in late Spring and Summer really can not be beat — everyone who has been hiding out all Winter long emerges from their cocoon and is hiking, biking, boating, and brunching. Being outside is a real celebration! I could do without the cool and overcast weather that inserts itself every few days, but hey, it’s Germany, not the South of France.

Speaking of local travel, tomorrow we’re heading to Berlin for a few days. More official business than relaxation, but who’s gonna complain about breakfast with the President of Germany?  He’s not the Chancellor or anything, but you gotta love a guy named Horst.
