Seeing:
* the local St. Pauli football club all over the papers on Monday morning, as they celebrated their jump up into the Bundesliga, the top league in Germany!

Hearing:
* a 3-year old talking non-stop for an hour and a half on the train home from Fulda last night. Even though I should have been annoyed because we were in the “quiet car,” hearing little kids speaking German still tickles me pink. Still, I wasn’t terribly unhappy when I saw them getting off the train in Hannover.

Tasting:
* lots of ginger tea, because I’ve been feeling constantly on the verge of getting another cold.

Smelling:
* rice and coconut milk from heating up Wednesday night’s leftovers.

Feeling:
* cold. Seriously, why am I wearing a wool turtleneck and boots in mid-May?
