Hamburg WEBMU: Final Report

I don’t know if I should admit this or not, but I’m still exhausted from last weekend’s expat blogger meet-up in Hamburg.  Letters Home, PapaScott, Transkitten and I played hosts — which, I have to say, was definitely a whole ‘nother ballgame as compared to simply attending in Munich last year.  But I think a good time was had by all: We woke up early, stayed up late, walked all over Hamburg, rode boats along the Elbe and the Alster, took a queer expedition, ate lots of chocolate, talked really loudly, and took plenty of photos.  What more could you ask for?

In addition to seeing familiar faces from last year (TQE, This Non-American Life, Germany Doesn’t Suck, Regensblog, and Snooker in Berlin), it was also fun to match blogs to some new (to me) faces (Resident on Earth, 50% of my DNA, HeisseScheisse, Cheeseburgers and Sauerkraut, and No Ordinary Homestead).

Good times, and I’m already looking forward to next year!

I am sure you all put together a fantastic weekend! Glad it went well and really wish I could have been there (although vacation in the US wasn’t too painful of a reason to miss ;-) Hope I am able to keep up my trend of attending every other year next year!!
