List no. 12: Obsessions

I’m generally a pretty logical person, but there are a few things I’m obsessed with which cannot be explained (or controlled) by any kind of logic:
  1. The Real Estate section of the NY Times.
  2. Slick packaging.
  3. Bright colors.
  4. Salty, fried foods.
  5. Ballerina flats.
  6. Hip pairs of glasses.
  7. Correct spelling.
  8. Correct grammar.
  9. Good lighting.
  10. Beautifully renovated old buildings.
  11. Dilapidated, falling-apart-at-the-seams old buildings.
  12. The New Yorker.
  13. White teeth.
  14. The perfect cup of coffee.
  15. Layout and design: be it a room, a bookshelf, a blog, or a document.
  16. Properly accessorizing.
  17. Punctuality.

And I’m sure there are many more that aren’t coming to mind right now.  Do any of these strike a chord with you?  What are your weaknesses and/or obsessions?
