Although I didn’t run in the Hannover Half this year, I did get to act as a cheerleader last weekend for mein Schatz and another friend who was running.  While I was certainly envious of all the runners, I still managed to enjoy spectating.  There’s something about watching runners push their way through a race that brings a tear to my eye (I’m not kidding).  Plus, Hannover is still one of my favorite races — one that I keep running again and again –because it’s not too far from home, we get to visit family at the same time, and we have friends and family cheering from the sidelines.  Happily, I was able to defer my entry until next year, so you’ll get to hear more about my next Hannover Half in 2013.
