Improv Everywhere “causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places.” On Saturday, Suzanne, Eric and I were agents for their MP3 Experiment IV. This mission required us to arrive in Battery Park City wearing a red, blue, yellow or green shirt, and armed with a camera and our iPod and a specially downloaded Mp3 file.
Precisely at 4:00:00pm (you were required to sync your watch beforehand to the atomic clock on their website), we (all 862 agents) pressed play and followed the MP3 instructions to point, skip, play Twister and tag, high-five strangers, take photos, create a human bull’s eye — and cause general confusion (and joy!) among bystanders .
It was totally great! There are photos everywhere — be sure to check out mine and Suzanne‘s (and don’t miss her post on the mission on her new blog!). The official Improv Everywhere sets are here and here — they had professional photographers documenting the event and their aerial views are the best! And as soon as they release an official report and video of the mission, I’ll be sure to share it with you.
P.S. Check #25 off my list of 30 Things To Do Before I Turn 31!
Those photos are great and that looks like a lot of fun!
