I’m generally a pretty logical person, but there are a few things I’m obsessed with which cannot be explained (or controlled) by any kind of logic:
- The Real Estate section of the NY Times.
- Slick packaging.
- Bright colors.
- Salty, fried foods.
- Ballerina flats.
- Hip pairs of glasses.
- Correct spelling.
- Correct grammar.
- Good lighting.
- Beautifully renovated old buildings.
- Dilapidated, falling-apart-at-the-seams old buildings.
- The New Yorker.
- White teeth.
- The perfect cup of coffee.
- Layout and design: be it a room, a bookshelf, a blog, or a document.
- Properly accessorizing.
- Punctuality.
And I’m sure there are many more that aren’t coming to mind right now. Do any of these strike a chord with you? What are your weaknesses and/or obsessions?
Ooh, good idea for a list! I’m with you 7, 11, & 17! And I just got a pair of ballerina flats and these could become an obsession! :)
