I know, I know, it’s been awhile since my last Five Senses Friday. Before I jump in though, I want to call your attention to another fabulous Friday series: the engaging Friendly Friday interviews by the lovely Frau Dietz — a former Londoner now living outside of Frankfurt — with other expat bloggers in Germany. I personally love reading about all the different kinds of people that have chosen to call Germany home. And guess what? I had the honor of being interviewed, this week! So before anything else, make sure to go check it out!
Seeing:
* our new (to us) antique cabinet/buffet in our kitchen. So pretty and so useful at the same time!
Hearing:
* the pounding of the raindrops during a morning storm in Bremen yesterday, which caused flooding that disrupted all of the public transportation.
Tasting:
* fresh salad!
Smelling:
* humidity.
Feeling:
* tenderness in my shoulders and neck. For years I’ve had problems with stiff shoulders and neck, and now I’m finally seeing a physical therapist about it. At least for now, that means I’m feeling pretty uncomfortable after each session, but I hope it helps in the end.

Welcome back to Five Senses!! Ugh – humidity is not a fun thing to smell. Your interview was really good – I enjoyed it!
