After golden yellow, in my mind, comes a glowing orange.  Never for wearing, funnily enough, but for soothing my environment.  Not bright, but warm.  I once made the mistake in painting the kitchen in my Brooklyn apartment a really bright orange, not being able to see the difference based on the paint sample.  The effect was definitely rather agitating than comforting.  But if you pick the right shade, in the right amounts, the effect can be heavenly.
