Five Senses Friday no. 35

I promise to try to make this as varied as possible, but with most of my week spent at home with my leg propped up, it’s going to be a challenge.

Seeing:
* my first German emergency room. (Not including the opening of the newly renovated hospital in Hamburg.)

Hearing:
* renovation work in the apartment above us, starting promptly at 8am every day.

Tasting:
* a lot of soup.  It’s one of the easiest things I can prepare while clinging to my crutches without creating too big of a disaster.

Smelling:
* crumbly chocolate bar.

Feeling:
* a tightly velcroed brace around my right leg.

    LOL…this is how tired I am tonight…I initially read: “Tasting: a lot of SOAP. It’s one of the easiest things I can prepare while clinging to my crutches without creating too big of a disaster.”

    I think it’s time for bed. Have a good weekend! I hope you are on the mend! :-)

  2. Jen: Hmm, reminds of that time as a kid when I said the F-word and my Mom washed my mouth out with soap. Thank goodness that’s not the case these days. ;) Hope you were able to get some rest and relaxation this weekend!
